Is 1225 Unified an insurance company?+

No. 1225 Unified is the church insurance division of Heritage Insures and is managed by J W Odom & Associates, LLC. Insurance is placed through appropriately licensed insurance professionals and authorized insurance carriers.

What types of ministries can request a proposal?+

Churches and related faith-based organizations may request a review. Eligibility, carrier availability, and coverage options depend on the organization, its operations, location, and underwriting requirements.

What information will our church need?+

Most submissions require a completed Request for Proposal, current declarations, five years of loss runs, photographs, building details, payroll, income, attendance, and other information relevant to your ministry.

Does submitting a request bind coverage?+

No. A website submission does not create, change, or bind insurance coverage. Coverage becomes effective only after all underwriting requirements are met and binding is confirmed by an authorized party.
